McLaren has launched the W1. This supercar follows famous models like the F1 and P1. It uses a V8 engine and electric power. Only 399 cars will be made. Production starts in 2025.

The McLaren W1 was shown on October 6 2024. Deliveries start in late 2025. All 399 cars sold fast. India may get imports by mid-2026 at select dealers in Mumbai and Delhi. The W1 is part of the Ultimate Series with the P1 and Senna.
Price and Ownership
The base price is $2.6 million USD. Custom options can cost up to $500,000 extra. Monthly payments may reach Rs 3 crore over three years. Annual service is around Rs 5 lakh. The warranty is three years with extensions. Resale value stays high for low-mileage cars.

Engine and Power
The W1 has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 916 hp. An electric motor adds 347 PS. Total power is 1,275 PS with 1,340 Nm torque. The 1.4 kWh battery gives short electric boosts.
Charging to 80 percent takes 22 minutes. The eight-speed gearbox has a neutral lock. The electric motor handles reverse.
