While Tata Motors has not given an official confirmation yet, experts believe the upcoming Tata Nano EV could arrive with some practical and modern upgrades.
It is expected to feature a 17–20 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a driving range of nearly 200–250 km per charge.
Charging could take around 4–5 hours on a standard AC setup, while fast charging is likely to cut down the time significantly.
The Nano EV is expected to deliver a top speed of about 70–85 km/h and remain a compact 4-seater hatchback, similar to the original Nano.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the original Nano was its lack of safety, and Tata Motors would need to address this in the upcoming Nano EV.
